With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our cherished Riccardo Montanino on March 15, 2026, at the age of 73. Riccardo is survived by his devoted wife Maria of 53 years; loving children, Amalia (James) and Roberto (Andrea); adoring grandchildren, Maria, Riccardo, and Madeline; brothers, Fiorenzo (Gina), Raniero (Lucia), and Diego; sister-in-law Letizia (Antonio); brother-in-law Filippo (Adelheid); and many nephews and a niece. Riccardo was predeceased by parents, Roberto and Amalia.
Riccardo was born April 26, 1952, in Manocalzati, Italy and came to Winnipeg in 1970. The family would like to express their gratitude to the team at St. Boniface Hospital for their efforts to help him during his final hours.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 28, 2026, at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road.
